[NukeNet] Need Good Response to Radioactive Coal Emissions Argument

Hi folks,
Given that the nuclear revival is in full swing, with at least 43 new
reactors proposed in the U.S. right now, we really need some solid,
documented arguments against some of the arguments used to justify nukes.
One of the arguments I hear often (and just today on our grassroots
"No New Coal Plants" network email list) is about how coal plants
release more radiation than nuclear reactors. I know this is a bunch
of BS, since the sort of human-made radiation from fission reactors
is far more dangerous than releasing the naturally-occurring
radiation in coal. However, I don't have good, documented info to
back up my understanding of this.
Can anyone on this list help me with solid info to debunk this common argument?
Thanks!
