[NukeNet] Independent Commission to Investigate the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

There are many people that have signed this petition believing in it's message but have then discovered that this seems to be some kind of hoax to get people to vote McCain as a huge McCain ad appears at the bottom of the screen when you have verified your signature.  
   
  Is this simply an for McCain or is this a real petition?  Please let me know because I and a whole lot of people are quite upset about this.  The way the NRC shamelessly promotes the nuclear industry is very dangerous to everyone in this country.  I and many others like me work very hard to educate people about this and to try to make the NRC accountable for it's lack of true regulation of the nuclear industry.
   
  Your immediate attention to this matter will be very much appreciated.  I look forward to your reply.
